One Down, Eight to Go

Here it is. Friday of the first week. It's definitely had its up and downs.

One huge perk was seeing the sun with a slight thaw. To say Henrik enjoyed playing around outside would be a huge understatement. This got me so, so exited for spring and summer!

We've been enjoying time at my parent's. Henrik has a new domain to explore and new (to him) toys to play with. And of course, all the extra attention from grandparents.

It's kind of fun being in the country. It's funny to me that growing up we always said we lived "in town" and this is the view out the side of the house. :) Being home always brings up so many memories of growing up. I was looking through some of my high school yearbooks and it literally feels like another life. Though, some things never seem to change. Like my mom wanting to feed me all the time.

Henrik is loving time with Grandma and I'm loving the help with him!

It's fun seeing Henny play with the same toys I loved as a kid.

I've been able to visit my grandma and have dinner with a friend. Today I get to visit another good friend and meet her new baby. All these things are really great. But of course at the end of the day I'd just like my life with my husband back. Soon enough I suppose. If eight weeks can feel soon?

(Excuse the random font changes. I suppose because of posting from an iPad?)

So thankful week 1 is done! Looks like you've been spending your time well. Enjoy Francesville for me! :) And I echo Betsy--the footy pajamas are so adorable!
