Pops is 21!

Or in other words, our baby is 21 weeks.

And no, we did not find out what we're having. It was hard not to at least get the gender photo in an envelope, but thanks to Devin's discipline, we stood our ground. And I'm so glad we did. It will be fun to guess over the next four months and even more fun to have such a big surprise at the delivery!

Okay - so I already think this is such a cute baby. Guess the mom gene is kicking in. Love how he/she is resting the head on the arm. You can see the elbow peaking out below the mouth/chin. This might be crazy, but I think those are my nose and lips. Girl?!

But then this one looks more like a boy...still resting his/her face into the elbow. The ear is really clear on this shot.
We're told everything looks good. All the body parts and organs are present and functioning. Heart's beating, blood flowing, feet have toes...you get the picture. Measuring right on track for mid-January, the 13th or so. Really thankful for a good report.

Yeah for you guys in not finding out what you are having. I know its all a personal preference but I had to do both ways just to see which I liked better and I tell you what....not knowing the sex of the baby is FAR MORE FUN and FAR MORE EXCITING when the baby is born!!! Im so excited you don't know!! I do however agree 100% with you on thinking that first picture looks like a girl. That was my exact thoughts. Super cute already. And yes, motherly instincts are kicking in fast which is a good thing!

Okay, when I saw the pic on email, totally couldn't make out the up and down of it all - NOW with your commentary completely see her/his (I'm leaning toward HER) face and she (err, or he) is marvelous! Fearfully and wonderfully made, indeed!
