May Book Review: Kate Morton (again)

Yet another extraordinary read! Seriously, I love this author's style...

The story line is definitely similar to The Forgotten Garden, as in the story unfolds bit by bit from present day view back to the early 1900s. It's also centered around a wealthy family in England, but this time even more so on their servants. It also is definitely not a "happily ever after" theme. So if you are wanting to feel good after turning the last page, this isn't your book.

However, if you ARE wanting an intriguing plot with captivating characters and a mysterious saga that will keep you hooked...this book is for you.

I'm finding myself really hoping that one of her books gets made into a movie...definitely good movie material. If I could star in the film of The House at Riverton, I would like to be Hannah. Want to know why? Read the book. (You'll probably disagree about wanting to be Hannah)

The House at Riverton
