my weekend:

bed (my closest companion of the weekend...poor guy)

puke bucket (i was not about to sleep on the bathroom floor)

1600 mg of pain reliever/fever reducer (not at one time)

weird real life/hallucinating dreams (result of fever)

4 hour ab workout (result of every 20-minute dry heaves)

so since i love to read into everything and i really do think that even the littlest things happen for a reason...i think God used this sickness to get me to take a step back and force me to think about a few things i had been finding ways to avoid. so i can honestly say it was a good experience. not to mention the smaller stomach and appetite that still isn't back to normal. :)

...but not a fun way to slim the old waistline. I had a similar over-the-toilet experience a few nights ago but as it turns out it was only food poisoning or something. Hope it's completely passed!

Don't know when you started the blog tweet, but I like it. This one is very thoughtful...sign me up. Think I might need to start praying that...

So rough...glad your better! I have always enjoyed reading your little verses or notes at the top of the blog...now called "blog tweet" I especially like this one- how wonderful if we could always have the mind of Christ.
