A Few Throwbacks

If you were on social media today, you probably noticed it was apparently "National Sibling Day". So, in honor of that and the fact that I'm at my parent's and happened to be going through an old scrapbook...

I thought I'd go ahead and post some funny and slightly embarrassing family photos. You're welcome, siblings. I really do love you all!

Kev, always Mr. Cool.

I'm not sure but I'm thinking we weren't quite ready for this shot.

You guys! The denim and khaki! Totally my favorite one!

And this next one: we'd totally win an award for the most modestly dressed family. Give Sara a bonnet and she's Amish. ;) And I guess we know what the popular hair style was for a certain demographic. Oh, and welcome to the family, Laura!

On a serious note, this last one isn't about siblings, I just thought it was so beautiful (if you can ignore the pink marker). My mom holding her newborn Molly in the hospital. Everything about this picture is so perfect! And I want that nightgown, seriously.

oh man, I love old pics. Is that denim and khaki one from when all the Pfledderer's got together for a big family pic? I'm pretty sure those were all over Gma's wall and our fam has one too. :) And Sara has some pretty amazing hair in that one!

Okay, you graciously, graciously skipped about an 8-year horrific stage for ol' Mol. And, okay, I must say - What WAS Jerry thinking??? In front of that curtain?? It's awful, just awful. Love that last pic of Mom- so sweet. As for the denim & khaki, I think Devin is on to something...maybe the whole crew?

So funny, Em. Our skin tone practically blends right into the white curtain in the Amish one. It's interesting how once you get 15/20 years out from a pic, it is so awful...and then sometimes it comes back around and doesn't look so bad as it gets more and more vintage. Sadly, I don't think that will be the case with most of these.
