In case you were wondering...

Life is good lately. We're gearing up for a really busy Fall, starting with heading to my brother's this weekend for family time and concert we're really excited about! Then the rest of Fall is filled with get-togethers and travel on the weekends...so fun!

Henrik S. is such a dolly. Overall, he's just so smiley and happy and really fun to be with. I used to feel bad for moms when they talked about playing with their kid all afternoon, and now I know what I was missing. :)

I'm still working full-time, but from home a couple days a week. Some weeks it's great, other weeks I feel like I'm not able to give anything 100%. Thankfully our childcare situation is working out perfectly. Dev is pursuing a new career adventure that basically requires learning a couple new languages...web development and design (more on this later). I'm excited for him! Though, someday, I still want to see that guy write a book, whenever he writes anything I'm reminded that he's such an amazing writer.

We started going to a new church in July. We love it. It's so perfect for us and we can already see so many reasons God took us there. I'm really thankful. Anyway, on to the picture part of the post...

Stef (babysitter), took this photo Monday. I always love when she sends me pictures of the boy while I'm at work!

We caved and got a high chair. The hook-on chair wasn't really working out. Now I love being able to sit Henny in the kitchen with me and give him a few puffs while I make dinner or just feed him standing up. This high chair is amazing, by the way. The tray AND the seat can go in the dishwasher. It's so easy to wipe off, so lightweight. And it can be shortened and the tray stand removed to create a toddler seat for when he's older. I had looked at high chairs for awhile and didn't like any, which is why we didn't have one, but this one is perfect.

This could keep him entertained for hours...I hope he gets his musical ability from Devin's side of the family, especially Uncle Brennan. :)
They finally fit! Well, a tad big, but they stay on and have plenty of room to grow. :)

Oh my goodness, I love all these pics. Love the highchair too, great choice! That would be pretty amazing to have a piano player in our family...maybe we could redeem ourselves and become a performing family yet. Truman may be able to contribute guitar. :)

such a cutie! I think that he totally looks like you Em in the first picture... something about his eyes and nose I think? not sure if you hear that much... usually the dad's looks dominate I've found. :)
