Out With the Old

I was very excited about this bathroom remodel. It was actually more than a cosmetic decision, the old vanity was rickety and only about half of the cupboards/drawers opened. We hired someone to do most of the work, which ended up being a really good decision, because as with most projects, there were unexpected hiccups and more work than anticipated. We ended up getting a whole new wall, having to add flooring where the old vanity was, and new holes needed drilled for the plumbing to work on the new set up.

Yes, we were very glad we hired a pro to do the work. Although, it should be mentioned that while Ben was doing the bathroom work, Devin replaced door knobs and locks on the main floor and replaced a light fixture, and hung/took down several things. I think he might be turning into a handyman after all! Oh, and I did all the painting and cleaning...such the stereotypical roles we have.  I still have a little trim to paint, a new blind to hang, and need to buy some new light switch covers. But other than that, it's pretty much done!

I doubt I need to specify which is the old and which is the new.
