Moving Week

I say 'week' because even though the actual move only took a day, no, a morning...the process was much longer. A fun week though! I seriously enjoyed my time just working at the new house. It helped that I had great people to work with.

Our house didn't really "need" a ton of work. In Devin's mind, it was "totally ready to move in to". Which it was. Structurally, it was definitely ready to move in to. But cosmetically speaking along with my personal preferences for a home I live in - it was definitely not ready. Hence the cleaning, painting, and other random projects.

I did an awful job documenting help. Seriously - so bad. Devin's parents did SO much work there and they aren't to be found in one picture. My bro-in-law Jarod and Leah helped two different days and, once again, no pictures. Ross, Christen, Kim, Brennan, and all the movers...nope, nowhere to be found. So thanks to everyone that helped and sorry I didn't get a backside shot of you doing some work at our house! :)

So here's what I do have...

Mom doing some great trim work! So fun to work alongside my mom and get her great expertise!
Dev putting together our kitchen island from IKEA.
A very happy boy who finally has a grill - with great steaks on it nonetheless!
An extremely peaceful Sunday morning on our street. We're loving this front porch!

talked to your mom on sunday....she said you have alot done and that the house looks great. A cute house with great character!! Love to see more pictures when you are all settled. Your mom also said there isn't a bathroom on the main floor....that will make for some good exercise.
