so i have come to the conclusion that i should not buy books this semester. see, the thing is...i never end up using them. all day my professors went on about how the book will be __% of the test material and used for the reading notes, blah blah blah. but basically if i don't buy them i save a couple hundred dollars, lose a few points in some classes, but still finish with good grades. i believe, friends, it is a no-brainer. i know, i know...such a rebel i am. too bad i didn't wise up before semester #6.
so as many of you probably noticed, i gave my blog a bit of a face lift. so i have to admit i spent a decent amout of time on various sites searching for fun, artsy templates. i found some pretty cool ones, none of which i was able to upload successfully, so i went to my staple color. grey is always a solid choice.
anyways my point of all this is to point out the extremely ridiculous templates i came across. i found myself laughing out loud soley at the very thought of if i were to use some of them. imagine traversing to a blog you visit on a normal basis written by a 'regular' person and seeing jake gyllenhaal very large and shirtless. or a half-dressed pop star. or some animated character with purple hair and a d cup that fights people. are 12 year olds entering the blogging world after all? i came very close to uploading one of them for fun...maybe someone else could be more daring?

i went through my math class w/o a book and i did just fine. i support you too. i think books are a scam. especially the "new edition". here let's just change the front cover, take out 17 words from the whole book so none of the pages are the same and make them pay 17 times as much for it than the old, "outdated" one.
