thursday night after church and the praise singing, leah and i had everyone over. leah made some amazing cookies! there would have been a lot more of the peanut butter, but a certain friend of hers got ahold of the dough as she was making them....:)
i made this awesome cranberry cider recipe that my sister laura gave to me. you boil real cranberries, among other things. it's SO good. unfortunately, due to the popularity of the drink and the fact that it only made 15 servings and we had like 35 people in the apartment...i only got a few sips, so mom we'll have to make it for thanksgiving!
most amazing part of the night....jodi and maggie came! jodi had a night off work, so she and maggie gonzalez came down for the night. dani was also around, as was natalie...it was like a '07 pyg girl reunion.
we had such a fun night. especially after all the guys left and it was down to some of us girls that like to dance. some of us may have made bigger fools out of ourselves than others.so, just 2 more classes and a group meeting and i'm off for thanksgiving break. last week was probably my craziest week of the semester and i'm happy to report that as of this morning i have turned in the last of my major projects due before thanksgiving. such a great feeling! now i can relax, enjoy thanksgiving, eat a lot of bbq turkey, pumpkin pie, and sweet potatoes. (i could go on about all of the thanksgiving food i love, but i'll spare you).
leah...i officially don't like when you aren't around. i missed getting up to already-made coffee. i missed you in the living room this morning reading with me. i missed you at 11 for our daily time together. and i miss you now because there are many things we could be discussing. you are no longer allowed to skip school after this week.
oh and i'm listening to the hsm3 soundtrack in honor of you.

Those cookies look awesome and the cranberry drink too! I was thinking the same thing Em- Would you be in charge of the ingredients to make this for us? Looking forward to having you home!
