we celebrated ashley's birthday at the beginning of the year since she has a summer birthday and has never had the opportunity of being kidnapped. we took her to the court house where we unveiled her and serenaded.
if the walls of the 3rd floor could speak...they would tell you of a late night (early morning really) water fight. the result: a sopping, smelly 3rd floor as a result of gallons upon gallons of water being litterally dumped everywhere. yes, this was started by the girls. which most fun does start with girls. :)
someone decided to add some soap to their water.
feable attempts to soak up some water. 5 towels later and no noticeable progress.
water is still squishing underneath the feet of those who traverse the penthouse of park place. but...it was well worth it. definitely the funnest night to date for the '08-'09 schoolyear.

Oh how I miss the fun times...but not the smell and squishy carpet that lingers for the next day (or week or maybe the halls of marsteller will smell forever)

I can only imagine how Kevin would have reacted had we tried this back in 1997..he was mad enough about footprints we left while climbing the hallway walls. Love the "Parkplace penthouse"...too funny.

yeah sara, that's what Leah and I were thinking about your message...did she really say 97?? :) don't worry, 10 years from now when i have a couple kids, i'll be saying the same thing.
