i heard that people dream in black & white. well both leah and i have disproved this in the last few days by remembering something about a dream that had color...a friend wearing a pink shirt & someone driving a red truck. anyways...have i ever mentioned i dream a lot? well, i guess i should say i remember my dreams a lot. i suppose the 'do we really dream every night and just not remember it' question is debateable and i for one, do not have that answer. so i either a: dream way more than the average person or b: remember my dreams way more than the average person.
i find myself wondering where dreams are from. clearly God spoke to people in the Bible through dreams, and i've heard many accounts today where He still does. but i must say, i feel like the majority of my dreams aren't likely from God. which begs the inevitable question, do we just simply dream random things put together in our subconscious or could some dreams be from the evil one?
i'm sure there' s a bunch of research on this; research i definitely haven't taken the time to look in to and i doubt i ever will. i prefer to make & believe my own theories. but it does make you wonder...

It certainly does! I had the most curious dream last night that left me quite frazzled all morning. Ask Leah about it...Actually, it could have been a nightmare, depending on who G.S turns out to be.

don't worry about g.s...i'm pretty sure they are nonexistent...at least i hope so! yikies.
Ahhhh dreams!! This post reminds me of our first "hang out" last summer after you started repenting.... you know, after eating at overseas china we were standing in line at wal mart discussing dreams and their possible spiritual meanings. :) Funny where a year and a half will take ya! (i wonder how many times we've said that!!)
PS-- I am jealous you remember your dreams so much b/c I pretty much never remember mine.
em, I am in the same boat as you. I remember my dreams nearly everymorning I wake up, and I remember my dreams from way back when. Do dreams really mean anything? Ive always asked nick that same question. I mean, Ive been a magnet before in a dream, Ive been an egg that beeps all morning(come to realize after waking up it was the alarm clock), but seriously, whats with the nightmares...like cutting up your sister and sticking her in a bag?? Yeah, weird dreams I know, but I remember them so clearly. What do they mean????

My favorite dreams are when I am flying. Have you ever done that? I only have like 3 times. It is so, so much fun!
First of all, you can only fly if you KNOW you are in a dream (that rarely happens to me). Then, you have to tell yourself in your dream to fly - usually by jumping off something. It is an unbelievable experience:)
Since you dream so much, you'll have to try it.
I failed.
I had a dream last night that I couldn't get out of. I was stuck in this HUGE building that was part mall/gym/baby room/fun house/putt-putt golf course/cave/craziness and kept running into dead ends. I couldn't escape. THEN, I realized I was in a dream and thought I would try to fly. Well, I was getting ready to... but Emitt woke me up. :(

Woah, Sarah, talk about an action-packed dream! I can't remember if I've ever flown in a dream before. Hopefully I can convince my subconscious to give it a try! Thanks for the fun info!
