beth moore

okay so i'm sure most have you have done a beth moore bible study before, probably a few. last summer i did breaking free and it was awesome. i'm thinking about doing another one and would welcome suggestions on which one. so if you have any you've done before and wouldn't mind sharing...i'd love to hear about it! (suggestions are not exclusive to beth moore, if there's another study you would recommend-go for it)

Em - there's a new slightly eary feel to your blog, but I think I like it.
I'd say anything by Philip Yancey (not a Bible Study, he just writes books but I love his stuff).

Hey Emily,

I have completed quite a few by Beth Moore.
1)Breaking free -3.5/5 (rating just my opinion :)
2)Believing God-3.5
3)The Patriarcs- 4
4)Living Beyond Yourself (5 Fruits of the Spirit)- 5
I have heard that Daniel is amazing
*I think others would rank these differently as it has so much to do with personal experience!

I am currently doing Lost Women of the Bible by Carolyn Custis James and rate it a 5 (I have been trying to figure out how God sees women & their role & this book really helps)

When I first moved to Indy I did Lies Women Believe and believe it changed me for the better at that time esp. I was working thru some rough stuff. It is by Nancy Lee Demoss. It is very very black & white.

Hope this helps. Love, J
