Day Ten, Home

I write to you this evening from a much colder and more drab venue. But, the snow is basically gone, so I can feel a little better about being home. We had a great trip (as you could see the past week and a half).

I'm happy to be home though and praying my dear Henrik extends his wake time a bit now that he's back to his own bed. I'm not sure how much of the 6:15 stuff I can take.

My last two pictures from the trip...my small carry-on suitcase with the beloved packing cube. Do you guys know about these things?! Amazing. Thanks to my bro-in-law, Ryan, we were all enlightened to their glory this past Christmas.

And, my sister Molly is the best. I wanted to cry lots of tears seeing her waiting for me at the airport. After a pretty long and stressful afternoon of flying, her beautiful blonde hair was a sight for sore eyes. She quickly tended to Henrik so I could carry my three bags without chasing that crazy kid and then, had delicious soup for us since she rightly assumed I wouldn't have much to eat at home when we got back. For some reason that gesture of picking us up with soup could still make me tear up. Like I said, it's been a long day.

So, so great. The relish atop the soup is SO Molly. Kinda want a bowl of it :). Glad you like the packing cubes, glad you're halfway through, glad the snow is melting a bit. Love you, sister!
