Distance: Week Three (Spring Break)

This week ended much better than it started thanks to beautiful weather. The beginning of the week my mood was as gloomy as the sky, I wasn't sleeping well, and felt weary of each day looking the same as the last. I was worried spring break would be worse without school to do but we all ended up being thankful for a break from structuring the day around school.

The boys played really well on the inside days, barely came inside when the weather was nice, and enjoyed the privilege of a couple video games Devin bought just for them.
We got the news that distance learning would continue for the remainder of the school year which was sad. How strange to go through most of a school year only to have it end this way, with no closure.

I've been looking at some abstracts to hang above our bed but haven't pulled the trigger yet. Ira made sure we had some art there in the meantime.

Oh, we also started on the wallpaper in Soren's room which turns out is straight from hell...so hard to get off.

I miss the gym.
The absolute bright spot in our week was good news from Charlie's MRI, Charlie and Emily coming home, and spending time with their family. We've decided we're one quarantine household and it's been so fun to get some friend time since they're nextdoor. Our big yard, quiet culdesac, and trustworthy neighbors are the best gifts of this new home during quarantine!

Your boys are so darling Em. And I like Ira's abstract art. :) That wallpaper, on the other hand, whew. Good luck. Happy you keep up your weekly blogging!
