Life as Four

Henrik's first trip to the ice rink!

Henrik stayed with my parents for a few days last week. Our house was so quiet with just Ira and me, but it was a nice break before plunging into mother-of-two full time.

Saturday we decided we needed to get out of the house...well, I needed to. So we headed over to our favorite local coffee shop and Henrik got his first hot chocolate. That night we tried an at-home date. It was interrupted by a baby wanting to cluster feed...but still fun to see glimpses of life getting into a new normal.

Up next: almost done with Ira's birth story!

i love this - still settling in to me that you have TWO now. :) excited to see your transition into this new beautiful (probably a little crazy) normal.

great post. Glad you are hanging in there. Ira is SO handsome - he looks so much like a boy (sounds like a weird thing to say, but sometimes it's hard to tell at this stage)

Love the pic of you and Ira sleeping!

Awesome billboard!! What a sweet sleeping picture of the two of you. So peaceful!! Ellie and henrik got along nicely at church wednesday. They shared lots of candy and goldfish together and then your dad had to come over and make sure they met which I told him they played nicely together:). Sweetness between the two;)!!
