Art in the Promised Land - also known as Michigan

So I'm in Grand Rapids at this big art show called Art Prize. And inevitably, there are lots of artsy-type people wandering around...one of them walked up behind me and took a picture because he thought our reflection looked cool in the nearby window. And I agreed. It was, in fact, a good photo opportunity and hard not to be artistically inspired when surrounded with more art than one can possibly see in a day (or multiple days really).

Next year I will go back to Art Prize, but for longer than an afternoon and possibly even during the week so it isn't so crowded. Fun city and mostly impressive art. Why is Michigan always so cool?

Oh and technically, the photographer was not some weird, artsy stranger. I know him - he's pretty cool.

I also said "cool" a lot in this post. I'm not sure if using that word is cool or not?

I'm pretty sure everything you say is cool. Do I sound like that nerdy girl in highschool that wanted to be friends with the popular, beautiful, tall blonde? 'Cause that's what I feel like right now! ;)

hmmm, and the real question: what are you going to submit next year for art prize? ( : you should make something.

This picture is cool, and I agree about Michigan. I love Michigan. Next year, I too want to see WAY more of Art Prize than what I feel like we saw this year.
(If you think the artist taking this picture is cool, I think you are cool.)
