I started with this...

and this...

(times four)

And the result?
Four of these...(which were more work than they appear, fyi)

To complete this...

 My quaint little dining area.
Which I happen to love.
I've finally gotten around to getting a dining table and chairs. Although I'm so out of the habit of using one of these, it might be kind of hard to make the switch. I've been sitting on my couch, standing in my kitchen, or walking from room to room during meals for almost a year now.
I'm convincing myself that I'm going to start having dinner parties, because it sounds fun. We'll see how that all plays out in reality. The table does fold out into an eight-seater, which is fun, but I'm not sure I'm up for putting together anymore chairs at the moment...it was a fun little project, but the screwdriver callous on my hand is telling me to take a break from being so handy.

Fun Em, and besides, where are you going to keep the extra 4 chairs when they're not in use! Give your hands a rest ;) (Love the candles in the bottles!Fun idea!)

Happy Days to You!

You'll love hosting dinner parties! I recommend "The Reluctant Entertainer"-it gave me a good perspective on entertaining & hosting. It'll be back at the library soon-when I get around to returning it ( :
