i started a new Bible study...well it's not new, but new to me. beth's "living beyond yourself". my sister-in-law had the dvds so that was one reason i chose it, but also just felt led to study more about the Holy Spirit and what that looks like in the life of one of God's chosen.
in the introductory session beth says something along the lines of:
"whether you're doing this with us now or years from now watching this by yourself, this was on God's calendar for you."
i have to say, this holds true for every major study i've done. i can always look back or even during and think, wow...the timing of this is/was amazing!
anyways...i'm just amazed at God's sovereignty and convicted for how easily i can forget He directs EVERYTHING about my life and allows EVERYTHING that comes to pass in my life. i'm so thankful this was on His calendar for me because only a week and a half in, i can already feel Him working! it's actually been a little scary...but good scary. if that makes sense...
