my week off of school is coming to a close...i start back for summer school on monday. i'm surprisingly not dreading it...

over the last few days i've been sorting through and processing this past semester and my feelings of being done with college life as i know it. i won't be going back to the stellar street in august. i won't be moving back in with leah or across the hall from the other girls. the days of the "college schedule" are gone. belv won't come ask for honey anymore. ben's rather loud laugh coming through the floor won't make me smile and roll my eyes...man i'm going to miss that place!
the pyg was a huge answer to prayer and one of the many ways God provided abundantly above anything i could have imagined. when i committed my life to Him, one of my biggest fears was finding new friends that i could actually connect with and have fun with. i couldn't have asked for a better group of friends. whenever i start to question my future, i can look back on the many, many ways that God provided for me in the past couple years...He provided in ways i wouldn't have ever thought of...
i guess this is why it is hard to move on, but not too hard. He will keep providing. maybe not in ways that i can think of, but in His perfect way. personally, i can't wait to see the great, sad, hard, fun, happy, depressing, and exciting times that are ahead of me in a new stage of life...
the good news is...some friendships are too good to move on without. i love knowing i have a group of girls that will, from tonight until the end of time, be my friends and my sisters.
christen and i went up to the lakehouse for a couple days for a getaway before we go our separate summer ways. this short trip, though starting with some car trouble, totally exceeded my expectations and was the perfect way to start summer! we took quite a lot of photos...here are a few of my favorite...and yes, it was quite the romantic trip!
some great antique store finds...we decided it is high time to bring back hats as a consistent part of the female wardrobe!!
i am so blessed by christen's friendship. she is so beautiful, inside and out.

Hey Em, I really like the new picture at the top! Great post. I'm going to miss you sorely next year. What am I going to do? I guess I can come visit you once in a while. Well hopefully I'll see you around this summer!
Awww....you are both sooo beautiful inside and out!! Glad to see you had such a fun and relaxing time with dear Crispy :) You guys took some AWESOME pics (especially the one on your blog).
I just recalled how you were talking about the beauty of campus. I'm slightly envious of you so enjoy it while you can. And, enjoy Marstellar, I miss it already :)
Looks like a great fun time!! Em, for the first time...I now see your sisters in you. The picture of you and Christen sitting...I see Sara's eyes and betsy's smile. You and christen are just both gorgeous.
I rememeber leaving marstellar...it was tough, yet life brings more joys than we can imagine down the road:)
Em,
So I am just now getting caught up on some blogs, but I wanted to comment on this post. Glad you and Chrissy had a great time in Michigan. Looks like a beautiful spot. I too got a PYG girl smile when reading this and seeing some of the pics. And like Tricky said, enjoy Marstellar while you can because I miss it too. Nothing is quite like it.
