as we checked the election updates tonight i had the feeling we were getting scores on the superbowl or something. and even though my team was losing, i knew in the back of my mind, it was just a football game and by morning i wouldn't really care that they lost.

but then it hit me...nope, not the superbowl, and yeah, i will still care in the morning. this will affect me. so i started to get a little nervous...

but then again, God sets up leaders and disposes them. His will WILL be done. so on that note...sure i'll pray, but maybe i will wake up tomorrow and not really care because i serve a God who is going to take care of His children.

i am a little disappointed though, i've become a palin fan over the course of the past few months. hopefully this won't be the last of her. mccain on the other hand...

Well said. As a mother though, I just want Sarah to go home and take care of her children!

Yeah, even though Americans think they chose the president, they ultimately didn't. God's sovereignty is awesome.

As for McCain, he needs to sit back and enjoy the last years with the wife of his (uh, I mean her) youth. Can you believe Cindy McCain is 54? My hopes of looking that good at that age have long been lost. :)

Mom - I think it's cool that Sarah Palin could potentially fill a role in government and be a voice that so FEW other women of her CALIBER are qualified, willing or able to do -- I say GO PALIN 2012!

I totally agree with you Bets and appreciate who she is and what she stands for, but I still feel like her kids need her time and attention. mom

This all makes me very glad I'm on the side of the God who has got it all under control! :)
