last night was the pyg's octoberfest. the theme was famous duos and trios throughout history. not everyone really stuck exactly to the guidelines, but it was a fun evening nonetheless. leah and i came as "american gothic". yeah, we know, we look REALLY hot.
apt. 4 came as the clinton's and two secret service guys. left to right: andrew, grant, joel, sam
tad, brett, and tyler came as patriotic singers...they performed everything from the star spangled banner to baby got back, they had everyone dancing by then end.
kyle, ross, & rusty came as the good, bad, and ugly. you decide for yourself what they were referring to. they had quite the modern-day good samaritan skit.
apt. 5 came as the ipod commercial guys. more dancing. :)
heidi and kaitlin came as the professor and girl from 'my fair lady', they had a great skit and amazing costumes!
ah, three characters from clue. mrs. white, prof. plum, and col. mustard. turns out it was mrs. white, in the kitchen, with the knife.

everyone had a pumpkin to use as they like and create...something. this was one group's rather creative jackelobe.
laura and shanna came as johnny cash and june carter, they even performed a song accapella!
american gothic and the clintons won most authentic. great crew!

That is really funny!!!!! Those are some pretty good costumes for college students with homogenous closets. :)
So I have to know, are those MY overalls that I wore for real?? They were from Goodwill and were usually worn with an oversized button-down shirt unbuttoned over them. It's true.

(I hear ya Sara, I wore similar outfits all the time. I really don't know why we thought flannel shirts OVER the overalls were so cool...I'll never understand!)
