soaking it in

so this past weekend was college weekend and communion in francesville. i went to CW for Saturday, but left to head home and hang out with my parents. it was so awesome to be home and just hang out. kent&jan heimer were staying with my parents because he came to help dad with communion. wow. let me tell you...sitting around talking to them was like soaking in wisdom. not to mention sunday afternoon dinner included wendell&marcella, dave&arlene...i felt pretty lucky to be surrounded by so many amazing Godly examples. sunday was by far one of the best days i've had in awhile...

so yah, my blog's been majorly lacking lately....why?

1. the ideas just aren't flowing.

2. any ideas i have had seem way to personal, which would have been fine back in the day...but due to recent findings...it just makes me too uncomfortable and takes the fun out of blogging.

3. busy. yep, with school, work, pyg stuff, friends, and sleep...blogging has been pushed to the back burner. which is suppose is a good thing. if i spent too much time on here i would be blogging about life, but not actually living life.

4. i've failed to take pictures of the stuff that's been going on, and pictures represent happenings so much better than descriptions.

5. life has been low-key. but i mean that in a good way. life has been consistently good, therefore anything i have to blog about seems to be repitively about how great God is and thankful i am for what's He's done in my life.

...i have a feeling though, the excitement will come. it always does. and when it does....maybe, just maybe, i'll fill ya in...
oh! and...sandra tagged me last week. i'll be posting 7 things shortly. :)

Emu-glad u have gained some wisdom...could you share the goodness?? I'm a big fan of consistancy rather than big changes but every now and then excitement is a must:)

If you feel your blog is lacking, it's probably because all your creative juices were used up by writing that poem about "the stellar street of mars"! Thanks for making our day better by 'hanging out' with the older folks! :) mom

I don't think your blog is ever lacking! If you need pictues, though, I have been the official paparazzi (how in the world do you spell that?!) lately and could loan you some stellar pics! :)

And.....

Man! Wendell and Marcelle, Steve and Linda, Kent and Jan, AND Dave and Arlene all at once?! I guess there are a few perks to being an elders daughter, eh?
