i think i like today, i think it's good

well unfortunately the lovely weather we've been having seems to have come to a hault. who's surprised? however, i'm surprisingly upbeat on this dreary thursday. here are some reasons why:

- i turned in a project this morning that took me 5 hours yesterday in the lab, that was a good feeling

- i had an awesome (& free) breakfast with jodi at panera this morning, i just love her!

- all i have to do is get through my 1:30 spanish class then i'm blowing off class the rest of the afternoon to go shopping (i need a new spring jacket, actually a spring jacket in general b/c i don't own one...and in case anyone remembers my post about not buying new clothes for awhile..I did successfully abstain from clothing purchases for about 3 months. in fact, i haven't even been in a mall, except to eat, since christmas-yay for me).

- i found out my stat exam that i bombed is probably going to get curved.

- there is a fun weekend ahead with the PYG, life is good.

it's times like these I have to repeat the phrase "God is good, ALL THE TIME" and make sure i remember this in the times when i could list tons of reasons why my day is terrible.

so, this is gross, but here it is. my project was a brochure on anorexia. i found this picture on the internet and could hardly believe it was actually a walking human being. or, maybe the dead really come back to life and walk the earth, this picture may provide evidence for that theory...

last night I led GOBS and went off of a part of Breaking Free (yeah, i cheated)...but anyways, it was about being satifsfied with christ and that's something i've been thinking about a lot lately. so i leave you with an excerpt from beth moore...
