if you've seen me this week...

you've seen 2 permanent fixtures on my body. numero uno: my henna!

all week i've been flashing my right hand around. i am loving my henna. this is the product of having an artistic sister who has connections to get good henna from the middle east. it's so fun and also funny when i get wide-eyed "yikes is that permanent" looks. i stayed at LUM last night and 95% of the homeless guests wanted to have a conversation about my 'tattoo'.

numero dos: my boots

i've pretty much worn these suckers for the past week straight with the exception of being at sara's (oddly enough northern kentucky is nicer in the winter than indiana). after my freshman year of college i vowed to myself that i would not go through another semester w/o rainboots. i love them. first of all, they are surprisingly comfortable and i can walk in them all day long. but most of all my feet have yet to be soaked by this lovely winter we're having. rain, sleet, snow...i think you get the point. plus they look good with a pair of dark jeans tucked into them. but i must say, as much as i love my boots, i'll be glad to give them up for flip flops and warmer weather!
