Hutchinson Island, Day Six
Yep, Hutchinson Island is, in fact, an island.
I got to go on a walk by myself this morning. It was divine. Just me, the sun, the beach, God, my crazy thoughts, and music.
Oh and we spotted a manatee in the river!
In other news, before we get to the photos of the day, we are officially halfway through this whole husband gone nonsense! Cheers!

I wasn't overly inspired today, I'll bring you the beach tomorrow. I promise.

And this one isn't from today, but from our travels yesterday and I think it's a good one.

Around this time last year we took an eight-week-old Bastian boy to Florida. He looked like this:
Devin had this to say about our trip: A Week Away
And now, here we go again! Except this time, just me and the little boy, who is now a year and eight weeks. And poor Devin has to spend long, cold days in Chicago working hard while we bask in the sunshine at one of his favorite places. No one said this being apart stuff would be easy or fun. :)
Originally I didn't really want to go without him. It felt weird and wrong. But now, with these long days at home without him, I'm really glad that we have ten days away to break up these nine weeks.
So, here we go!

| There was the tea stop where others were moderately pleased with their honey tea but more interested in my bubble tea. What are those bubbles made of anyway?! |

| We enjoyed our time sans Henrik, but talked about him a lot. |

| Then onto the show. I personally would choose to see Wicked over last year's Les Mis. So fun! |

| Casey and Aaron's (non-alcoholic) fizzy breakfast drinks. Aaron might have been a bit embarrassed about getting one. Casey's little girl is due in early February! |
