After a horrible Monday, the rest of our week has gone amazingly well. The type of days where things just go right. Days where Henrik takes a good nap, does cute things, and gobbles up healthy food like chicken curry and broccoli for dinner. Days where I have the energy to do pilates and afterwards include Henrik on juicing. (Though I think he was hoping the juice would taste more like the apple and less like the carrot.)
I'm thankful for these good days with him. Days where I can take cute pictures of his new "cheese" smile and document the really great things about being a stay-at-home-mom. I know there will be plenty of bad days to come...plenty of days when I wonder why in the world we'd ever have another kid?! Days where I won't have the energy to work out or make healthy food. I guess it's just a constant balancing of choosing joy and grace on the bad days and thoroughly enjoying the good.
Happy Friday!
