I'm loving this summer so far and it's been what I had hoped, which is a good feeling. This past weekend we took a couple friends up to Devin's parent's lake cottage. It was so fun and laid back and all four kids were really well behaved.
In a matter of five minutes on the drive up Henrik went from this to this...
Sam was definitely the favorite amongst the kids. :)
Unfortunately the weather wasn't super on Saturday, but Sunday was really nice.
Devin was set on all three guys taking the jet ski out together, much to Matt's dismay and Peter's amusement. :)
I think Devin looks so cute here holding Isla Jean.
We're not really the group picture type of people, so this will have to do. We spent a LOT of time on this porch with lively discussion. The epitome of summer, in my opinion.
And lastly, this wasn't from the weekend, but we went to the zoo with Isla the following day. These two will have no choice but to be friends. So fun to have such close friends that just live a block from us!
Now we get to enjoy a four day week and head to the lake again!
