basically the recipe for a fabulous weekend! leah came early to make some food. this is her in action cutting up veggies for fresh black bean/corn salsa.

the group. i am sooo thankful God blessed me with amazing friends in college. relationships that continue to lift me up and encourage me! these are some pretty stellar girls i must say. it's rare we can all assemble for a couple days seeing as were starting to get spread out and have very different work schedules, so i definitely want to appreciate these times!
we went to a Bible characters costume party on saturday night. from left to right...me, christen, ashley, kendra (esther), dani (haman), jodi (moses), and leah.
leah and i were the cupbearer and baker from when joseph was in jail. dressing up is pretty much our favorite pastime. in college, dressing up didn't have to be for a holiday...just a random friday night dubbed 80s night or embarrassing the pyg boys at the ag club's pancake dinner. so needless to say, we will now take any and every opportunity to dress up. why is it so much fun to be someone else?

saw some of these on facebook and had NO IDEA that moses and haman were girls(sorry girls). Good job in pulling that off. Crazy how costumes can totally change a person's look. Looks like you had a fun time!!
hahahaha. yeah, haman and moses seemed to have that effect on everyone. :)
