okay, i've never really heard anyone say that.
but i'm sure someone, somewhere has a theory on that.

actually, now that i look at it, my desk DOES say a lot about me...
i am messy; i never use my desk to study, only to store things; i like coffee; i like music (ipod); i like leah and torey; i like to steal luke's car keys and prank his car; i use two beauty products on an almost-daily basis: mascara and red burt's bees lipstick; but mainly...i am messy
(having a hard time locating all of those objects? understandable...that's a lot of stuff to take in)

My poor husband.
I always used my bed or couch to study, never the desk (probably because it was too messy). : )
I think it's a sign of a creative mind at work (or so I tell myself).

In all fairness to you, Leah DIDN'T help the mess with all her junk all over the place....but, that does look pretty messy ;)

haha... I'm guessing my desk in college told a similar story. However, I find that people have different expectations of "grown ups" so I try to pretend I'm not messy. And, I don't have a desk to clutter up anymore. So, now it's my dresser that collects my life. :)
