is how my summer is seeming to go. pretty dull weekdays, but great weekends! last weekend was high school girl's camp. it was such an awesome time...i loved the girls in my cabin and my co-counselor. the camp theme was 'armor up' and my cabin was the NAVY. i've come to the conclusion that camp is just as much for the counselors as it is for the campers. even though i know that isn't the intention, i don't think it's a bad thing. it was definitely a much needed retreat for me to have a full weekend of worship and encouraging/being encouraged by other girls living for the Lord. a few shots...

my dearest leah should be here any minute! it's going to be a fun 4th weekend with the girls and then leah and i are heading to fville for saturday & sunday.

glad you had such a great time, em! i always felt a tad guilty at the reminder when they made a point in the pre-camp counselor meeting to talk about how "this isn't for you - it's for the girls".
