yes, this is what my room looks like right now. i guess you could call it a work-in progress (or is it working progress?) i never know... i'm sure leah is gasping with horror right now. but have no fear, i AM working! and i promise to prove it with pictures of the finished products.. the lovely desk you see on the drop cloth already has one coat and is looking great. once i get all my painting finished, i'll proceed to clean and organize and prepare for my roominator. just a fair warning to anyone looking to paint furniture black: "black ink" is actually black, "black coal" on the other hand is really mineral grey. but turns out, i love the dark grey color so it all worked out!
