pyg girls! yes, yesterday i was lucky enough to spend the afternoon boating with 3 of my great friends. trickidy (ash) was up spending the weekend at christen's house, and i went home to fville as well, and dani arranged some great plans! it was so fun to hang out...much needed girl time! plus, we got to eat at the italian bistro (aka pizza hut) that crissy works at. i just love these girls so much. i think we would all agree that the burnt tan lines and sore wakeboarding arms/shoulders were worth it!

thinking about father's day, i felt so blessed all weekend to one: have my father living and healthy and two: have a dad who is worth celebrating. but i felt a little sad all weekend for those i know who have lost their dads recently or those who immediately get a bad taste in their mouths when they hear the word dad. i am so fortunate to have the most amazing dad. not to mention the pleasure of seeing my brother kevin and bro-in-laws nate & jarod being pretty great dads as well. hopefully someday i have a husband who's an even better one...err, i mean half as good as they are. :)
new subject: have you ever experienced a relationship with someone who refused to take blame for anything? even small things, things that aren't a big deal...they absolutely will not admit to ever doing something shady or outright lying. even if you can give them a concrete example of them being in the wrong, they find their way around it and talk in circles until you somehow fall for their crap. okay this, is me venting.

Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh. The highlight of my summer thus far. :)
em-sounds like a BLAST! i'm glad you got to spend F's day that way!! love ya!~
How great...sometimes the last-minute plans like that are the most fun. And yes, people that admit their mistakes (before being called out on it especially) are much more enjoyable to have in your life.
hey girl, now doesn't that place look familiar:) So did Aj take you out on the boat at all, or did you just use the land to bask in the sun?? I miss all the memories made at the lake house. Oh but the lakes here beat lake shafer anyday:) and that is why we just had to buy ourselves a boat to enjoy. Glad you girls had fun.
well aj was going to take us out on the lake but i think he got the cut from a certain girl...:) jake tanner and al took us out on the tanner's boat. and yes, shaffer isn't the cleanest lake in the world, but it was fun anyways!
oh yeah thats right...I now remember my mother telling me aj was not a happy camper. He was pretty "ticked" so my mom says. He really thought the registering for their wedding could wait until sunday after church, but she couldn't quite wait:) Glad you had fun.
