it's friday, may 16th

and the festivities have already begun. yesterday evening was the bachelorette party, today will consist of mucho preparations and then of course the rehearsal dinner (which will be awesome considering it's at maize-yum). and then of course tomorrow will be a long (but fun) morning of pictures and as the clock strikes noon, the long awaited wedding. okay so not-so-long-awaited, i mean the engagement was only 3 months.
anyways, fun times have already been had and i'm sure there's more to come. i'm praying for a good attitude and servant heart this weekend. i'm also praying for NO RAIN (no exactly conducive to an outdoor reception).
i can't believe the other 'single sister' is actually getting married. well, i can in a way, because i see that it's God's timing and God's plan for her, but still, family changes...not so high on my list of things i love. but God is good, all the time.


on tuesday a friend encouraged me to reflect back on my relationship with betsy. so i have been. and it's been really good for me to just think of our relationship throughout the years and truly appreciate my sister betsy. so thank you to my friend, for telling me something i needed o hear (even if he didn't realize i needed it) and most of all, thank you to God who has given me so many amazing memories with an amazing sister.
