why i love her: she has an amazing heart and is so kind to people and in situations that i would be a huge brat. she rocks at volleyball. she's a great listener. all i have to do is give her 'the look' and she knows what i'm thinking because she's probably thinking the same thing. she understands where i'm coming from on a lot of things and is very practical in reacting to situations. kim furrer, you're pretty cool. :)

i went to the doctor this morning. my appointment was at 10:30 and i got in right on time. no joke, 15 minutes later i was walking back out to my car. i have this odd feeling of security whenever i leave the doctor. even if i still have to wait on test results or something. i just like knowing that if something could possibly be wrong with me, they'll catch it and then it can be taken care of. i think maybe i have too much faith in medical care...maybe because we have a pretty stellar surgeon in the family. :)

during my 4 minute stint in the waiting room, a lady, her mom, and her kids walked in. there were 5 children and i'm not kidding they had to be ages 4, 3, 2, 1, and like 4 mos. i don't know how it was humanly possible for her to have all those little...uh, rascals. it was so depressing. luckily the insane mom was too busy with her kids to notice the dropped jaw and look of horror on my face.
