AVA

Also known as Angels and Airwaves... I finally got to see my favorite band in concert. Wednesday night Austin, Jeremy, and I made the haul to Columbus to the Newport Music Hall. We got there around 7, the band came on at 10, we left around 12, and Jeremy and I arrived back in West Lafayette a little after 4. So it was a long night, long trip, but totally worth it. The band was amazing live, we had an awesome spot in the crowd (like 20 feet from the stage), and it was so great to be with my friends and fellow AVA lovers. This was definitely something I've wanted to do for awhile, so I can check that off my list. I forgot my camera (so annoying), but Austin had his, so as soon as I can get my hands on some of his pictures I might post a few...
My blog address (beyourdistraction) is actually named after one of their songs..."Distraction". It's one of my favorite songs of theirs and also has a lot of meaning to me personally...in the video bar on the side, I added a video of them doing that song live the other night. Someone who was at the show posted it on youtube. It's really poor quality but gives a little insight into the show even though nothing compares to being there in person.
