you're the meaning in my life...

Friday night Jodi had the amazing idea of dressing up (80s style) and singing our highly esteemed version of Chicago's 'You're the Inspiration'. So we did...we sang to the lethargic poker players in apt. 6 where we received a rather pathetic response, but then we ventured down to apt. 4 where chad, joe, and andrew became our #1 fans. We finished up in 11 to an uncomfortable audience of one...I think Kent was a little overwhelmed. :) We ended our fun by heading to 'the den' for a den pop. I think the girl at the counter assumed we were a bit tipsy...

Well I should go, I just finished my AMAZING taco soup from mom and I'm off for a long afternoon of 4 more classes. I think I'm going to treat myself to Starbucks in between them...days like this call for some sort of afternoon specialty.

Ahhhhh! you beat me to it. I started a post last night titled "you're the meaning in my life, you're the inspirationnnnnnn", but was too tired to formulate any fun or witty comments. Thankfully, you're post went above and beyond my expactations. I'll have to post after we do our 1920's night. :)

Emily, some things never change. We should have taken pics. of our 80's night (maybe Moll has some, she was probably sporting the side pony or the frizzed crimp) then we could post them side by side. You have starbucks on campus? Or you just drive to the one on the levee? I wish we would have had one right on campus, but then I probably would have bought two a day & really could not have afforded that :). Love, J
