The Fville bible class did a scavenger hunt at the mall on Friday. The teachers asked me to be part of it and disguise myself and walk around the mall. So here I am dressed like a boy...Blair's jeans, Chad Fiechter's shirt, and my favorite Butler hat that I took from a guy I once dated for like a week. I got some interesting looks as I walked around the mall with Leah and Jodi. I'm not sure if people just wondered why I was dressed so weirdo or if the girls just thought I was a cute boy. It worked pretty well though, I was hard to find.
On a totally different note...
It's the weirdest feeling ever to look back at a girl you used to be and feel like it wasn't you, but yet at the same time remember and know her so well that you could be her again easily if you tried. Maybe it's more like there's this other girl out there still living that I once knew really well, but I just don't see her anymore. Sometimes I miss her (we had some great times), but then I think of all the retarted things she did and I'm glad not to have her in my life. I often wonder how she would be doing right now if I hadn't let go of her...she would probably still be majorly failing at life.
Sara, this is for you...
I saw you dancing and I'll never be the same again for sure. I saw you dancing, say yaki da.

hmm...there is a profound chapter in Abba's Child that speaks of this exact dilemma of character. manning calls this "other person" that we leave behind yet is still 'us' the "impostor" - I think your thoughts are similar. Does that mean you could write a successful book? Maybe...
Don't go chasin waterfalls just stick to the rivers and the lakes that you're used to...
Bets, I'm pretty sure TLC doesn't get the credit for "I Saw You Dancing." But who WAS that one-hit wonder??? Oh, Al would be quite disappointed with my memory. sara
I'm pretty sure the group name was actually "yaki da", whatever the heck that means. Sara, I have this great memory of you and Jeremy M. taking Makensie and I to a movie in your tbird and listening to that movie. I for one, have a rather good memory. :)
and yeah b, where did the TLC lyric come from?
I enjoyed the reflective writing on the girl you used to be- very interesting! I didn't understand the part for Sara- fill me in! Mom
umm...i was trying to start a fad of adding old-school song lyrics to the end of comment-posts, but i guess no one got it and it isn't catching on...
oh well...
