I'll go crazy with the spray and keep at it. hopefully less will cling to my hair after rinsing...although the body was pretty nice...my hair looked like a lions mane. haha :) L, Ann and boyshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17819091836222076208noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-192232606244623892.post-50042044203891852302014-02-02T15:37:05.658-05:002014-02-02T15:37:05.658-05:00Ann, in case Em doesn't see this, I'll giv...Ann, in case Em doesn't see this, I'll give you my experience. I've been using this method for several months now. I will say that I wasn't too sure the first two weeks. Your hair may go through an "odd" period for a while, but I will say - for me- that hanging in there has been worth it. I find my hair softer and shinier than it ever was when I used shampoo & conditioner. So, I guess if you are up for it, keep doing this every other day and see if you adjust. Also, I always rinse really well after dumping the baking soda mixture. Then I do a LOT of spraying with the ACV, making sure to get my scalp as well. Of course, I then rinse that all out, and I do think it makes a difference to rinse well and don't skimp with the ACV...:). Hope that helps! I used a brush in the shower and my hair felt super clean and smooth while rinsing. No smell of vinegar at all, so I figure I rinsed everything out really well. But now after it dried that day and today it looks like I went swimming in the ocean. It has tons of texture (like I could do an undo really easily right now) but it looks dull, as if I used texture paste or something. Normal? Does it get shinny again? Should I use avocado or something or just wait it out in you opinion? I could look online, but your the first person I know that has actually tried this. :)L, Ann and boyshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17819091836222076208noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-192232606244623892.post-48585567745319265042014-01-31T12:56:09.386-05:002014-01-31T12:56:09.386-05:00this post made me want to sit down with you and sh...this post made me want to sit down with you and share ideas. :) come over sometime when you're bored. smwhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04138265512499989251noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-192232606244623892.post-85448030904584270062014-01-29T07:51:40.604-05:002014-01-29T07:51:40.604-05:00Ha, Ann loving the type-os. :) I haven't noti...Ha, Ann loving the type-os. :) I haven't noticed my hair seeming dry. However, once every couple weeks I do an after-shower leave in conditioner. My hair is used to that and not washing everyday, so I may be to a good place to try even more minimal stuff :) I worried my hair would get really dry from it though...it's already on the dry side normally. Would you say your hair feels more dry now?L, Ann and boyshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17819091836222076208noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-192232606244623892.post-83716995357665789932014-01-28T13:54:02.576-05:002014-01-28T13:54:02.576-05:00I third the "too pale for makeup" woes! ...I third the "too pale for makeup" woes! My hair and scalp feel very fresh.

I boiled 1/2 c water in the micro and used it to dissolve the baking soda. Stir well. Then added 1/2 c tap water.
