Eight Down, One to Go

Um yeah. That's right. One. ONE week left! A week from today, I'll be in Chicago with my boy celebrating his "graduation".

I'm missing Devin like crazy, but Henrik and I had a fun week visiting my parents...

Our first night there they were hosting a high school bible study for church. As you can see above, Henrik was so helpful setting up chairs and then distracting the bible-studying youth.

We spent as much time outside as possible...

Visited my sister Sara and even got to babysit this sweet little Fiona girl.

On our last day, we got to spend time with my Grandma G and one of my cousins and her two girls. Meagan and I are only six months apart in age. It's so fun to now get together as mothers!

As usual, Henrik adores his grandparents and is preferring them over me by the time we leave. I'm so thankful for the various men who filled in for Devin these nine weeks!

I'm thankful week eight was much happier than week seven. And I'm quite pleased to be able to say we're at week nine!
